DJ Aeryk began his musical career in 2011 as saxophonist 'Erik Clear' in Boston, Massachusetts.

Erik played in the band circuit as a saxophonist all over New England and the surrounding areas at weddings and nightclubs every night of the week while still studying full time at Berklee College of Music. 

 

As a saxophonist, DJ Aeryk (or 'Erik Clear') studied under smooth jazz saxophonist, Walter Beasley, and quickly gained the attention of other musicians in the genre such as Dave Koz, David Sanborn & Elan Trotman (who invited Erik to play at Winter Park Jazz Festival in 2021) .  These great saxophonists and many other great musicians helped shape Erik's saxophone playing over many years of groovin' and studying the music of the greatest musicians of all time.  You will still hear the "smooth jazz" tone in Erik's saxophone to this day. 

 

After being asked to DJ his sister's wedding in 2015, Erik found a new passion in music through DJing and he later became DJ Aeryk - literally fusing two sides of the music world together in a way that is not often found.

DJ Aeryk's performances are elevated with his live saxophonic melodies baked seamlessly right into the mix.

DJ Aeryk is frequently compared to the likes of GRiZ and Two Friends but with a melodic and progressive house flare inspired by artists and producers such as Martin Garrix, Alesso, Illenium, Zedd, Fisher, Gorgon City & more.

 

As a full-service premium event DJ, he also has the perfect touch for the delicate and important moments like a newly wed couple's first dance. His fine attention to the small details makes for perfect ceremonies, exciting Grand Entrances, and a precious private last dance at the end of a magical night.
